Ella Hislop

Ella Hislop is VP of Product at Luminance, a market-leading legal AI company which enhances every touchpoint a business has with its contracts. Leading Luminance’s Product team, Ella’s key responsibilities include shaping Luminance’s AI roadmap, onboarding new customers and overseeing the implementation of the technology. Ella joined Luminance in 2019, after making the decision to move away from a ‘traditional’ career path in law to instead pursue her passion for technology. Back then, Luminance was still a small team in a shared office spun out from research at the University of Cambridge. Since then, Ella has helped the company grow to a global organisation helping over 700 companies in 70+ countries to transform their legal processes with AI. 

Ella’s achievements and contributions to the company have resulted in an accelerated career trajectory, rising to become part of the executive team in just three years thanks to her tenacity and drive to ensure that Luminance’s customers around the globe derive maximum value from its specialised AI. She has played a pivotal role in Luminance’s unparalleled innovation, with new developments released at an unprecedented rate.
