The Award scheme that changed the course of my career (and life actually).
It’s not the Awards themselves, having won a spot on the list in 2021 age 29 and subsequently in 2023 age 31, but what the recognition represented (and still represents). It was the validation that the hard and incessant work I was doing to breakdown systemic inequalities, and spearhead professional female initiatives, was making a difference.
The Awards are phenomenally special for me, even more so having been Chair of Judges last year and a Judge again this year. They acted as a springboard for me launching my high impact and female leadership business, OP, two years ago. Two years ago next week! They have been an important backdrop for me to become a founder, with boldness and resilience - continuing to believe wholeheartedly not only in myself - but of those women around me.
Women NEED opportunities, NEED recognition and NEED celebration.
This MT Awards scheme is helping.— Phoebe Waters, Co-Founder and Partner, Optimising Potential

I was lucky enough to appear in 35 Under 35 a few years ago. It's a brilliant initiative to celebrate the achievements of young women from across all industries and this year's Chair is the highly-talented Chloe Davies, so there's not better time to get your applications in!

I can honestly attest to how fantastic going through the process and making the list has been.
I went into the entry writing process thinking, if nothing else, it was an amazing opportunity for me to slow down, digest and really take stock of the work I do, and the impact that has. And I think the opportunity for that confidence boost alone has been worth its weight in gold.
Making the list has given me such a new found sense of strength and ambition, and I've met some other incredibly inspirational women to top it all off. So if anyone is on the fence about applying or nominating, honestly it's not anything you'd regret giving a go.— Emma Birch, Art Director, Cavendish
