Rebecca Mason

Rebecca has played a key role in building McGill and Partners' crisis management team and expanding its capabilities, leading to a nearly threefold growth in just three years.

An expert crisis management broker with over a decade of experience in kidnap, ransom, terrorism, and event cancellation insurance, she has earned a reputation as an exceptional broker within some of the most complex, high-stakes areas of the industry. 

Rebecca began her career in insurance marketing, then transitioned into broking and quickly became a sought-after specialist in crisis management cover. Since joining MGP, she has risen through the ranks and was promoted to Partner last year. 

As a woman of colour in a traditionally male-dominated industry, she is committed to challenging barriers for underrepresented voices. In addition to her technical expertise, Rebecca also dedicates her time to supporting women in insurance.

She is a committee member of Elevate, McGill and Partners’ women’s network, where she mentors female colleagues, helps drive diversity initiatives, and pushes for tangible change in the industry.
