Lucy Warden

Starting out in graphic design, Lucy Warden blazed her own unique trail to business leadership. Ten years ago, she co-founded People – an independent creative agency that aims to change lives through live experiences. In 2022, she became Managing Director of the company, which has grown rapidly through Lucy’s approach to looking beyond expectations and developing industry-leading policies. 

Within two years, Lucy led the transformation of People’s internal processes, established practices to attract and support underrepresented talent, and launched progressive policies for parental and health leave. Her initiatives have helped to fuel the multi-million-pound company’s growth. Under Lucy’s leadership, People has launched three new sub-brands and doubled the size of its team, which delivered twice the number of projects and proposals in 2024 as in 2023. 

Both within and beyond her role, Lucy is dedicated to bringing diverse talent into the live events sector, and helping parents and working-class employees to thrive. From designing free entry-level masterclasses to advocating for new parents in senior positions, Lucy is a champion of inclusion who passionately demonstrates its value for business. Her story proves the impact that an ambitious leader from an unconventional business background can create for people and organisations.
