Insight Director at PHD Media UK

Sophia's career to date spans almost 15 years. From fresh-faced assistant at NBCUniversal, to a decade spent at Channel 4, and now coming up to her one-year anniversary as Insight Director at PHD Media. 

Across 10 months at PHD, she has led insight projects that deliver meaningful business outcomes for our clients, including WV, Sainsbury’s, HSBC, Uber, Chanel & Warner Bros. Discovery. She's proud to have contributed to 20% of their 2025 revenue, navigating over 20 client projects and playing an instrumental role in beating their targets for a 5th year. She balances a high volume of client projects with wider agency/industry contribution, including PHD’s propriety Culture Currents thought leadership project, which is delivered annually to clients at Connect. 

During her time at Channel 4, she attained 5 promotions to become Customer Insight Lead, she managed a team of 8 to support the needs of Channel 4’s £1b commercial operation and those of their advertisers. Here she led award winning research initiatives that impacted the business and society.

Alongside work, she studied for a Level 5 Professional Coaching qualification and have spent over 100 hours coaching professionals across industries. She is a problem solver, a compelling presenter and empathetic leader.
